When did everything start needing a purpose?
We’ve been taught that hobbies must become hustles. That joy must be justified. That if it doesn’t produce a result, it’s not “worth” our time.
But today, I’m inviting you to break that cycle.
Day 23 of the April Challenge is all about reconnecting with the activities that light us up simply because they do.
No outcome. No productivity goal. No sharing required.
Maybe it’s dancing around your kitchen with a wooden spoon mic.
Maybe it’s pulling out your old sketchbook.
Maybe it’s getting lost in a childhood book or baking a cake you have no plans to post.
This is your space to simply enjoy being you.
✨ Affirmation:
My joy is reason enough.
🖊 Journal Prompt:
What is an activity I love doing, simply because it brings me joy?
When was the last time I gave myself permission to enjoy it without guilt or expectation?
How can I make space for it this week, just because I want to?
Your challenge today: give yourself the gift of joyful presence. Choose something that makes you feel alive — and do it without a to-do list attached.
Let your joy lead the way.
